the last announcement we received was 2020-07-23. i was not about to send out a childish letter on "mold" in the kingdom halls.. there are people out there out of work and concerned about what they will eat tomorrow, and the watchtower is concerned with mold!.
Some elders are heading for nervous breakdowns. I know many have got close to the edge or gone over. But in recent years they have achieved excellence at painting themselves into a corner. Even when only using a 2inch paint brush as directed by the CO.
Perhaps they could use a teaspoon to start digging themselves into nice big hole. Petra have you got a set of teaspoons you could lend them?

WTWizard - I did disfellowship them. I got in first. Then they did me. But they didn't care about me df'ing them. What they got really upset about was an interview I did with an elderly sister, Christine who got disfellowhsipped for just asking the elders about the child abuse issue. That was because it showed them up as the bullies they were.
But I wouldn't have been free to do the interview with Christine IF I hadn't df'd them first. And when I talk about disfellowshipping I mean in harmony with Jesus' instructions, not the Watchtower's version.

If you are in the know, you know so and so is df'd. You have to be part of a secret clique to get the correct info.
But like I said waiting for confirmation.

Look at the pic behind him - you can't see it all but it's the shepherd, like Jesus who has found the lost sheep.
All you can see is the hand. Then at 4:36 the speaker makes that hand gesture speaking of a widowed sister. He says, "Jehovah sees me."
Well whatever he means, one thing is for sure they

They might appear to be generous in distributing food but we who have endured the Watchtower experience know different.

Note Jesus is talking about sin not standing firm in your Christian integrity which is the reason people are getting thrown out for.
my experience was that most jws wanted to have an elder “friend” just in case they got into any “trouble “.kinda like knowing that certain cop who might get you out of a jam.

of course there was another group who did everything they could to either kiss the elders’ ass or stonewall them anytime they came snooping around.. how did you and the “older men” get along?.
I had no idea about the back room. Wasn't until I was all but out and met up with a bro who was on his way out. He explained to me the horrible things that went on behind the scenes.
The elders were generally very, very nice to me. It was the doctrines I saw through first. Not the elders. Then I realised that the elders were comfortable going along with blasphemy. But even when I called them out on it, they still kept trying to get me to go along with it. As they threw me out, one of them shook my hand. Another told me I had down some wonderful research. Yet another listed the fond memories he had of me.
And now - are they nice to me? When they see me they look away or disappear down the aisle of a shop. But others, not elders are behaving differently. They smile, they wave, they speak.
My name is not mentioned much by the elders. I suspect when they are not grinding their teeth at the thought of me they feel shame.

When I was chucked out the synagogue last year, the elders apparently discussed the possibility of me committing suicide. How heart warming eh? If you didn't feel hated beforehand, you certainly feel hated when you find that out.
But I keep remembering what happened to Joseph and how he forgave his brothers in the end.
I do understand how some fall short in their behaviour or just get in a bit of a mess and it leaves them vulnerable to a troubled conscience. This is one reason why I would encourage anyone who even slightly imagines that this is God's organisation to put that thought right out of their mind. It isn't. And they are not your judge and jury. Jesus Christ is and He loves you so much he died for you. Get out the Bible, read the things Jesus said and did, then ask yourself, what would his view be of you?
You are loved, you are cherished, you are precious, you are of immense value. Know it. And if you've mess up a bit, change your ways and move on.
Get some royal robes ready and a few fatted calves cause if the elders who were cruel to you ever come to their senses, you'll all have a nice party together one day.
